2021 Robin Hood Myths & Legends 1oz Silver coin

This is a pre-owned 1oz silver bullion coin. Produced by the Royal Mint to start a 3-coin collectible mini-series based on Robin Hood. The other two coins in the Myths and Legend collection feature Maid Marian and Little John. These coins are a must have for any collector.

Each coin is minted to 999.0 purity silver, containing 1 troy ounce of 24-carat silver. Coins will arrive in official tubes for orders in multiples of 25. Like the other 1oz gold coins in the series, the Robin Hood coin possesses a face value of £2, qualifying the coin as legal tender – meaning any profits made when selling the coins in the future are completely free from Capital Gains Tax. The Royal Mint has produced these coins to bullion finish, deeming them ideal for investment due to their lower production cost.

Robin Hood 1oz Silver coin

Celebrating the classic tale of Robin Hood, the legend himself adorns the reverse of the first coin release in a brand-new Myths & Legends series, focussing on UK folklore.

Jody Clarke designs the image of the Sherwood Forest outlaw, with his foot resting on a fallen branch, with his bow pulled back, ready to fire his arrow.

The obverse features Clarke’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, familiar since 2015.

Our Expert Opinion

Snap these fantastic coins up while you can. Whether you purchase one Buy these coins early while premiums are near to bullion prices. As a limited issue set, these collectible coins will likely rise in value like the Queen’s Beasts series.

While silver coin collectors are likely to snap up these coins, investors will also benefit. The likely rise in premiums are motivation enough, but the coin’s legal tender status qualifies as tax exempt also.
