10oz Silver Falcon Queen’s Beast

This is a 10oz silver coin issued by The Royal Mint. Coins are issued in plastic capsules or 15 per box for bulk orders. Produced to high purity of 999.9, the huge 10oz Falcon contains 311.03 grams of silver. Like the rest of the 10oz versions of the popular Queen’s Beast silver series, the Falcon features a face value of £10, double that of it’s smaller 2oz version. Like all the British coins with a face value, the Falcon Beast qualifies as legal tender in the UK, making it free from Capital Gains Tax.

Our expert opinion

These coins are a fantastic choice for both investors and silver coin collectors alike. The face value means it’s a tax efficient purchase because any profits made on such legal tender coins are free from Capital Gain Tax.  The huge size also reduces the production cost per gram when compared to smaller 1 and 2oz silver coins, so the cost of purchasing the coin is economical. Its large stature also allows for a highly detailed design and a very satisfying feel in the hand.

As part of the ever-popular Queens Beasts series, premiums should rise quickly with many buyers seeking to complete all ten coins.
